Effective Date

The following Privacy Policy supersedes any and all previously posted Privacy Policies regarding Directory Assistance Plus ("www.Daplus.us") and Fonecart ("www.fonecart.com") a division of infoUSA Marketing corporation ("infoUSA").  As a responsible provider of information, we regularly review and update our Privacy Policy to ensure we are operating in a manner that is consistent with the interests of our customers. infoUSA reserves the right to change this policy and such Future changes to the Policy will be posted on the site and accessible to users.

Scope of this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy addresses the information that is collected when a user accesses DAPlus or Fonecart, as well as how this information is stored and used  by the site.  The Policy also addresses relationships between DAPlus, Fonecart and third-party websites.

Information We Collect

Types of information we collect include aggregate data as well as personal user information.  Details about each type and how we use them can be found below.

Aggregate Data - This data (such as your IP address, or your browser type) is collected electronically through the normal use of our website, and is used solely for our own administration and operation of DAPlus and Fonecart.  Such data is also non-personally identifying, and allows users to remain anonymous. 

• Personal User Information - Certain features provided by DAPlus or Fonecart may require you to submit personally identifiable information (such as name, address, email, and telephone number) in order to participate.  When we request personal information from you, we will inform you of the type of information we need and for what purpose.  This data will be stored as a cookie (a small data file) in your computer and used only for completing transactions in which you are a willing participant. 

In order to simplify the user experience, DAPlus and Fonecart capture the city and state information entered by a user during their last search and uses this information to conveniently pre-fill the relevant areas of the search box upon the next use of DAPlus and Fonecart.  This information is stored as a cookie on the user's computer and is collected only to increase the efficiency and convenience of the site to users.  This information will not be shared with any third party.

Businesses that choose to advertise through an "Enhanced Listing" on DAPlus may be required to provide credit card information to complete their transaction.  This information will be kept secured and not shared with anyone.

How We Use Information We Collect - We will only use your personal information for the stated purpose of its collection.  We will not sell or disclose personally identifiable information to any third party outside of InfoUSA Marketing Corporation. Personal User Data will be stored on a centralized server in a secure environment.  We take many precautions to keep customer data safe, and access to this information will be restricted solely to employees who are necessary for administering and providing services on DAPlus or Fonecart. Businesses that share public data relating to their operations (hours, payments methods accepted, product brands) agree to allow infoUSA to provide this information in other related products.

Information Displayed on DAPlus and Fonecart­ - Information found on DAPlus and Fonecart is provided by infoUSA inc., and more information on how the data is collected can be found here: (www.infousa.com).  DAPlus and Fonecart only display public information about businesses and people.  Those who wish for their information to be taken off the website can submit their request by filling out the form at http://www.daplus.us/Remove.aspx.

Third Party Websites That Link to DAPlus and Fonecart - DAPlus and Fonecart contain links to third party advertisers who offer relevant products and services.  We are not responsible for the content or privacy policies of other web sites.
